Some Reviews from the Angels’ recent Abingdon concert…

“Thanks so much for the wonderful concert – the sounds and vitality, invention and delight, stayed with me during the night.”

Venetia

“What a lovely programme, we really enjoyed the performance, the venue and the three of you playing together. It was fun, serious, moving and with enough humour to bring a smile and a bounce to all those around us at least.”

Jack & Amanda

“That was a glorious concert, thank you! Wonderful playing and such fascinating pieces put together in an amazing programme, a real journey!”

Caroline

“Thank you for a heart-lift of a Sunday afternoon last week. From the moment you came in, with wonderful wit and theatricality, to the final encore, the whole thing was fabulous. Your arrangements were just brilliant, the performances outstanding and I found the musical communication and conversation of the ensemble work very moving. Three cellos ought to happen more often.”

Helen

“From Byrd and Purcell through Classical to Romantic, and beyond to Ellington, Chick Corea, and Henry Mancini. Rhythm and wit throughout. Five Stars!”

Simon

“I wanted to thank you and your fellow performers for such a wonderful concert….it was utterly mesmerising, moving and such good fun to be in the audience.  I heard three cellos play so many different instruments, from so many places….I could not quite believe it. I just wanted to hear and see it all again at the end.  Thank you thank you and please pass on the message to the other musicians.”

Lucy and Jean

“May I follow up just to say that we had a wonderfully uplifting and heartening time. Three strong women making beautiful, exciting music from across so many repertoires.”
